Sponsorship Fast Facts

A dog that is welcomed into the Lucky Pup Rescue system costs an average of $250 if they are adopted within one month.
Some dogs require additional care and attention to give them a second chance. Sponsorship dollars make it possible to provide life-changing surgeries, heartworm treatment, medical attention, and training or rehabilitation.
No one in the Lucky Pup Rescue organization draws a salary and we do not have a physical location (only a strong network of foster homes), so your donation goes directly to the care of every dog in the rescue.

Where Does the Money Go?

$5 will buy a leash or collar
$10 will buy heartworm preventative for 1 month
$15 will protect a dog from fleas and ticks for 1 summer month
$35 will provide 1 round of puppy vaccinations for a dog in need
$40 will feed a dog quality dog food for 1 month
$80 - $100 will spay or neuter a dog in the South (and boy, do they need it!)
$500 will treat a dog for heartworm disease in New England
